May flowers...

...are finally making their presence known after more than our fair share of April showers! To celebrate, the Garden Center is open again tomorrow (5/19) and Saturday (5/21). With the warmer temps, we've brought more items out of the greenhouse (eggplant anyone?!) and also just got a new shipment of non-student propagated items. Rumor has it that the sun just might hang on for the weekend, too, and you know what that means...time to get your hands dirty out in the yard!!

Come on by between 11am and 3pm to check out the amazing selection of plants at our wonderfully LOW prices!

See you tomorrow and please don't forget to bring your own containers to carry your purchases home in! :-)

Shopping Green

As you all know, the garden center opens this Thursday, and to support our efforts to be "green," please help by bringing your own containers to carry plants home in.

Cardboard boxes, plastic tubs, or even just a reusable grocery bag are all good ways to keep the plants from sliding around your backseat, trunk, or truck bed, and to keep soil and water from leaking onto your upholstery.

Remember to come and see us this Thursday and Saturday (May 5th and 7th) from 11am - 3pm at the north end of the South Seattle Community College campus!
