Edibles!

When the garden center opens on Thursday, May 5th, we'll have a great variety of edibles available for you. Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo and support the LHO program while filling in the empty spaces in your garden! Here's just a teaser of some of the tasty plants you'll find...

We also have Mustards, Broccoli, Arugula, Water Cress, Endives, Cilantro, Fennel, Catnip, Strawberries, Raspberries, Boysenberries, Salmonberries, Figs, Kiwi, Horseradish, Asparagus and more! Plus, we'll have more edibles available soon (including more than 20 varieties of Peppers and 30 varieties of Tomatoes)!

About Puget Ridge Garden Center

The Garden Center is a hands-on teaching facility for students of SSCC's Landscape and Horticulture (LHO) program. Here students learn to propagate plant material and perform the various jobs involved in running a retail nursery. These include: customer service, ordering, inventory control, display, sales, marketing and keeping plant material healthy and salable throughout the process. Puget Ridge Garden Center is open to the public, offering quality plants and garden-related products. Proceeds from Garden Center sales go to support the LHO program. You will find us in the Landscape and Horticulture complex at the north end of the campus.
